How to edit floorplans in H&L

Overview

Instructions on how to update the floor plans and to push the updates to the POS machines in the Old Vines Restaurant.

Steps

Remote Desktop into TS.quailsgate.com (Click on the Windows logo button and type Remote Desktop Connection if you don’t already have a shortcut).

Once logged in, Open File explorer and navigate to \\QGNAS\temp
Copy the relevant floor plans files you wish to change to Archive folder as a backup
Click the Windows Logo button > All Programs > Sysnet Software and launch FloorPlan
Click on the Open Folder icon on the tool bar and navigate to \\QGNAS\temp\H&L Floor Plans. Select the floor plan you wish to edit.

Now you can create, clone or delete tables as necessary. Double clicking on the tables will allow you to change the table numbers and add captions.

Once completed, Click on the File Menu > Save. Exit the program
Click on the Windows logo button > All Programs > Sysnet Software > UpdateOVRPOS. This will update the POS machines. Once completed, you will need to close the POS software on the POS machines and relaunch it.
